Search Better with AI

When it comes to searching the web for information, undoubtedly your go-to is Google. Why? Because Google has paid a lot of money to be the default search engine on your Apple devices. And, probably because it just works. But does it? Could it work better? Currently, your Google searches will show you:

• First: Sponsored ads

• Second: Sponsored links

• Third: Links that might lead you to find the answer to your query after clicking and searching through loads of content 🥵 

Personally I prefer to have a question answered with an answer rather than 100 more questions. After trying out dozens of new ai search apps and platforms, this one is my favorite. I do also use ChatGPT for different types of queries, but sadly due to the extreme scrutiny they have come under with the current copyright infringement hullabaloo their chat has become less productive. More on that later.

Perplexity is my favorite and has replaced Google for 90% of my searches. It simplifies search queries by giving you a complete answer, rather than a flood of paid ad links to wade through for the information you want. It also includes source notations so that you know where the information came from. Here is an example:
